Travel OR RN in Pearland, TX

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Pearland, Texas. The unit has 4 ORs, uses Meditech, and supports orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgery with robotic, laparoscopic, and open cases.

• Prepare operating rooms and case carts for scheduled procedures
• Assist with circulating care for orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological cases
• Support robotic, laparoscopic, open, and cystoscopy procedures
• Maintain patient safety and 1:1 perioperative care
• Document intraoperative care in Meditech
• Provide family updates and assist with recovery coverage

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Strong perioperative communication and teamwork skills

• Meditech experience
