Travel OR RN in Live Oak, TX

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will circulate surgical cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Live Oak, Texas. The unit has 5 operating rooms, a 1:1 patient ratio, Meditech charting, and basic OR equipment supporting a broad surgical mix.

• Circulate operating room cases
• Prepare the room, supplies, and equipment for surgery
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists during procedures
• Document perioperative care in Meditech
• Support care for a broad range of surgical specialties

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Operating Room circulator experience

• Orthopedic operating room experience
• Experience with general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic cases
