Travel OR RN in Houston, TX

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide circulating support in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The unit has 9 operating rooms and handles general, gynecologic, genitourinary, and pediatric open and laparoscopic cases with EMR documentation.

• Circulate for general, gynecologic, genitourinary, and pediatric procedures
• Prepare the operating room and verify needed supplies
• Support open, laparoscopic, and robotic cases
• Coordinate care with surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesia staff
• Document intraoperative care in the EMR
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout the case

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Operating room circulating experience
• Open and laparoscopic case experience
• Accredited nursing program graduate
