Travel OR RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 22 operating rooms, a 1:1 patient ratio and Meditech charting. It handles robotics, cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology and GYN cases in a collaborative, low-turnover team.

• Prepare operating rooms and maintain a sterile field
• Circulate for surgical cases across multiple service lines
• Assist with patient positioning, counts and specimen handling
• Monitor intraoperative patient status and respond to changes
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia and surgical technologists
• Document care in Meditech and support room turnover

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Operating room Registered Nurse experience with cardiac cases
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Experience across multiple surgical service lines
• Orthopedic, neuro, general or robotic case experience
