Travel Oncology RN in Webster, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will support patients in an acute care hospital oncology setting on a 13-week contract in Webster, Texas. The 8-bed unit uses telemetry and Meditech and serves oncology, transplant, and cellular therapy patients with a 4:1 ratio.

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy therapies
• Provide care for transplant and cellular therapy patients
• Assist with blood administration and related monitoring
• Monitor cardiac status and respond to changes in condition
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient response in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Support safe, compassionate care for hematology patients

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas or multistate compact license
• BLS certification
• ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
• Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience
• BMT/Bone Marrow transplant experience
• Hematology experience

• ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse certification
• ACLS
