Travel Oncology RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care in an outpatient urology clinic on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit sees about 30 patients per day and treats bladder, prostate and ureteral cancers using Epic charting.

• Provide outpatient oncology nursing care for urology patients
• Assist with cystoscopy, bladder scanning, instillations and post-void trials
• Manage Foley and suprapubic catheter care
• Assess symptoms, medications and lab values for changes
• Coordinate patient education, telephone triage and follow-up
• Document care and treatment in Epic

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in oncology
• Epic charting experience and prior travel experience
• Outpatient oncology, telephone triage, care coordination, Foley catheter management, medication tolerance assessment, and abnormal lab value recognition

• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification
• PALS certification
• Phlebotomy and IV start skills
• Bladder, kidney and prostate cancer experience
