Travel Oncology RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide triage, education, and assessment in a clinic and operating room support setting on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves adults with gynecologic oncology needs, uses Epic charting, and handles low daily volume with complex needs. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patient calls and Epic messages for medication reactions, symptoms, and concerning surgical outcomes
• Provide preoperative and postoperative education and assessment
• Complete follow-up calls and referrals to support safe treatment progression
• Obtain vital signs, pain assessments, histories, and urinalysis as needed
• Support adult gynecologic oncology patients and family concerns through telephone triage

• Active Washington or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical, PACU, SICU, OR, triage, or OBGYN nursing experience
• Adult patient assessment, telephone triage, and patient teaching skills

• Gynecologic oncology, OB/GYN, or general surgery clinic experience
• Voiding trial experience
• Central line or port flush experience
• Epic charting experience
