Travel Oncology RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for oncology patients in a hospital unit in Dallas, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 41-bed unit uses Meditech, commonly works at 4:1 to 5:1 ratios, and supports blood and electrolyte replacement, sterile dressing changes, and Baxter pumps.

• Assess oncology patients and respond to changing conditions
• Administer blood and electrolyte replacement per protocol
• Perform sterile dressing changes and line care
• Monitor labs, symptoms, and treatment tolerance
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic record

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong sterile dressing change and infection prevention skills
• Blood and electrolyte replacement protocol experience
• Port and central line care experience

• General medical oncology experience
• Familiarity with ports and central lines
