Travel Oncology RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for oncology patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit has 21 beds, estimated ratios of 1:3 to 1:4, flexing to 1:5, and uses Meditech charting.

• Assess oncology patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and electrolyte replacement
• Maintain neutropenic precautions and strict intake and output monitoring
• Manage central lines, dressings, and cap changes per protocol
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Document patient status and treatments in the chart

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Oncology nursing background
• Strong IV therapy, assessment, and documentation skills

• Hematology-oncology background
• Chemotherapy certification
