Travel Oncology RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide outpatient care in an oncology clinic in Los Angeles, California on a 13-week contract. The clinic serves adults and geriatric patients and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric oncology patients
• Assess symptoms and support ongoing outpatient treatment
• Administer medications and monitor for treatment reactions
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Start and maintain IVs and obtain blood samples
• Perform wound care and reinforce infection precautions

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical oncology or oncology clinic experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Skills in port access, central line blood draws, PICC line management, IV starts, and IV medication administration
• Experience with wound care, wound vac care, and isolation precautions

• Chemotherapy administration
