Travel Oncology RN in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide outpatient chemotherapy infusion care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Issaquah, Washington. The unit serves adults, averages 30 visits a day, and has 12 rooms and 12 beds. Onsite physicians support infusion needs.

• Administer chemotherapy and oral and continuous infusion treatments
• Monitor patients during infusion and respond to reactions
• Access and maintain ports, central lines, and PICC lines
• Start IVs, draw blood from central lines, and provide hydration
• Give blood products and monitor for abnormal lab values
• Educate patients on treatment-related care and safety

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ONS fundamentals of chemotherapy certification
• 1 year of acute care med surg oncology experience
• Chemotherapy administration, port, central line, PICC, and IV skills

• OCN certification
• Outpatient oncology experience
• Infusion center experience
• Phlebotomy skills
