Travel Oncology RN in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide outpatient chemotherapy infusion care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Issaquah, Washington. The unit serves adults, has 12 rooms, and sees about 30 visits a day.

• Administer chemotherapy and other ordered infusions
• Access ports and maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs
• Monitor patients for infusion reactions and anaphylaxis
• Administer blood products and IV hydration
• Review labs and communicate abnormal values
• Support body fluid precautions after chemotherapy

• Current Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• BLS
• ONS fundamentals of chemotherapy certification
• 1 year of acute care med surg oncology experience
• Chemotherapy administration, port management, and central line care
• IV access, blood product administration, and abnormal lab recognition

• OCN certification
• Outpatient oncology experience
• Infusion center experience
• Infusion pump management, phlebotomy, and cytotoxic spill handling
