Travel Oncology RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for med-surg, oncology, and hospice patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit uses Meditech and typically cares for patients at a 1:6 ratio, including hemodynamically stable patients needing cardiac monitoring without interventions.

• Provide nursing care for med-surg, oncology, and hospice patients
• Monitor hemodynamically stable telemetry patients
• Manage IV and PICC lines
• Perform wound vac care and support chest tube and surgical drain management
• Insert and remove Foley and NG tubes
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Meditech

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Team-oriented, patient-centered communication skills
• Ability to manage a busy acute care workflow
