Travel Oncology RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Medical Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for oncology patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult oncology care with symptom management, treatment support, and medication administration.

• Assess oncology patients and update care plans
• Monitor symptoms, treatment tolerance, and lab trends
• Administer ordered medications and supportive therapies
• Collaborate with providers on changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment and patient education skills

• TNCC certification
