Travel Oncology RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide direct care for oncology and surgical patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 24-bed unit uses Cerner and manages ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 with standard unit equipment.

• Assess oncology and surgical patients and update the plan of care
• Monitor symptoms, labs, and treatment responses and report changes
• Administer medications and support chemotherapy-related care per unit practice
• Assist with pelvic exams and bedside procedures as needed
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Clinical judgment and patient assessment skills

• Chemotherapy certification
