Travel Oncology RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for adult oncology and women's surgical patients in a hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, standard equipment, and ratios of 1:4 or 1:5.

• Monitor oncology and post-surgical patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and supportive treatments per plan of care
• Coordinate care with the team for symptom control, discharge planning, and patient teaching
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Cerner
• Assist with pelvic exams and bedside procedures such as echo and thoracentesis
• Prepare patients for treatments, tests, and procedures
• Maintain safe, compassionate care in a hospital oncology unit

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
