Travel Oncology RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for oncology patients in an oncology and women's surgical unit on a 26-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 24 beds, uses Cerner, and typically staffs 1:4 to 1:5 ratios with standard unit equipment.

• Provide direct nursing care for oncology and surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document assessments, care, and outcomes in Cerner
• Assist with pelvic exams and thoracentesis preparation
• Collaborate with the care team and support unit flow

• Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong oncology and med-surg patient care skills

• Chemotherapy certification
