Travel Oncology RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for oncology patients in a women's surgical unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 24-bed unit uses Cerner and works with 1:4 to 1:5 ratios in a Magnet-designated hospital.

• Assess oncology and surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assist with examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Document care in Cerner
• Educate patients and support families
• Collaborate with the care team

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Oncology and surgical nursing skills

• Chemotherapy certification
