Travel Oncology RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide direct care to oncology and women's surgical patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 24-bed unit uses Cerner and typically cares for patients at 1:4 or 1:5 ratios in a Magnet-designated setting with a Level II trauma center.

• Provide nursing care to oncology and women's surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Assist with pelvic exams and thoracentesis procedures
• Coordinate care with physicians, CNAs, and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Cerner
• Follow unit policies and patient safety practices

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Acute care nursing skills
• Oncology nursing experience
