Travel Occupational Therapist in Napa, CA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care in a hospital-based unit on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The caseload includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics, with Epic charting and an average daily census of 10 to 12.

• Evaluate patients and establish occupational therapy plans
• Treat neuro, orthopedic, hand and pediatric cases
• Guide activities of daily living, home exercise and upper extremity programs
• Support discharge planning, reassessments and patient and family education
• Use adaptive equipment and safety strategies to improve function
• Document care and coordinate with the therapy team

• California Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Adult outpatient rehabilitation experience
• Assessment, patient education and discharge planning skills
• Adaptive equipment, upper extremity and lifting and transfer skills

• Pediatric adaptive equipment assessment, autism and sensory integration
• Hand therapy, splinting and upper extremity prosthetics
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
