Travel Occupational Therapist in Portland, OR

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide acute care treatment and discharge support for adults and geriatrics in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patient needs and functional status
• Develop and update occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide treatment to support daily living skills and recovery
• Assist with discharge planning and home exercise instruction
• Educate patients and families on safety and injury prevention
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, progress, and reassessments in Epic

• Oregon Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• 1 year inpatient acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting experience
• Acute care assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, patient education, and safe transfer skills

• Trauma Level I experience
• Trauma Level II experience
