Travel Occupational Therapist in Walnut Creek, CA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide therapy in an acute care hospital on a 14-week contract in Walnut Creek, California. The caseload includes acute care and inpatient rehabilitation patients, with emphasis on functional recovery and discharge planning.

• Evaluate patients and establish occupational therapy plans
• Deliver individualized treatment to support self-care, mobility, and functional independence
• Adapt activities and teach patients and caregivers safe techniques
• Coordinate discharge needs and recommend equipment or home supports
• Document progress and communicate with the care team
• Assist with acute and rehabilitation caseloads

• California Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Strong assessment, treatment, and care coordination skills

• Acute care experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
