Travel Occupational Therapist in Duncan, OK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will support patients in an inpatient rehab unit for a 13-week contract in Duncan, Oklahoma. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics with 1:1 ratios and Meditech charting. First-time travelers are welcome, and the role supports interdisciplinary team meetings focused on functional recovery.

• Evaluate functional abilities and establish occupational therapy plans
• Treat patients through activities of daily living, self-care and leisure interventions
• Support adaptive equipment use, safety and injury prevention
• Document assessments, progress and reassessments in the charting system
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on home routines and functional goals

• Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license, obtained before start date
• BLS certification
• 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation
• Skills in assessment, treatment planning, patient education and discharge planning

• Meditech charting system experience
• Hand therapy, lymphedema or wound care experience
• ACLS certification
• Compact license
