Travel Occupational Therapist in Irving, TX

A Travel Occupational Therapist will support adult acute care rehabilitation in a hospital setting for a 13 week contract in Irving, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and serves a multidisciplinary therapy team with lift equipment and walkers.

• Evaluate and treat adult acute care patients
• Support recovery for post-op orthopedic and general surgical cases
• Assist with mobility, self-care, and functional training
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, and nursing staff
• Document care and progress in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on discharge needs

• Texas Occupational Therapist license
• Adult acute care experience
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program

• ICU experience
• Postoperative orthopedic patient experience
• Team-oriented, flexible approach
