Travel Occupational Therapist in Houston, TX

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The unit serves neuro rehabilitation patients and uses Meditech Expanse for charting. Therapy equipment supports mobility and transfer training.

• Evaluate patient needs and develop occupational therapy plans
• Provide ADL training and functional mobility interventions
• Guide transfer training and adaptive equipment use
• Support therapy for patients with trachs, PEGs, drains, and wound vacs
• Document progress and adjust care plans in the chart
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to coordinate care

• State of Texas Occupational Therapy license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Neuro rehabilitation experience
