Travel Occupational Therapist in Devils Lake, ND

A Travel Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient and outpatient outreach therapy setting on a 13-week contract in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role supports interdisciplinary discharge planning, patient education, assistive devices, and documentation.

• Evaluate patients and select treatment methods based on diagnosis, symptoms, age, and physician orders
• Educate patients and families on therapy procedures, home programs, and assistive devices
• Document evaluations, treatments, precautions, orders, and plans of care
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning
• Monitor outcomes and adjust programs to improve effectiveness
• Supervise OTA staff in accordance with licensure standards
• Assess pain and respond according to protocol

• North Dakota Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• 2 years of occupational therapy experience

• Inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy experience
