Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Tarzana, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech Registered Technologist will perform nuclear medicine imaging and related testing in an outpatient unit in Tarzana, California on a 13-week contract. Adults and geriatrics are the main patient groups, with Epic charting and first-time travelers welcome.

• Prepare adults and geriatrics for nuclear medicine studies
• Perform bone, brain, liver, renal, cardiac and parathyroid imaging
• Assist with pharmacological stress and Lexiscan testing
• Draw venous blood as needed
• Monitor patient safety and image quality during studies
• Document care and imaging details in Epic

• BLS certification
• NMTCB or ARRT certification
• California state licensure
• 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
• AMA radiologic technology training

• EKG experience
• Myocardial perfusion imaging experience
• ACLS certification
• PET scan experience
