Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Avon, IN

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide nuclear imaging care in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Avon, Indiana. Adult and geriatric patients are supported in Cerner, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies and cardiac and general protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain IV access
• Follow radiation safety practices and handle radioactive materials properly
• Support adult and geriatric patients during stress, uptake, and ventilation/perfusion studies
• Document exams and patient care in Cerner
• Coordinate with radiology and other care teams

• Indiana technologist license or pending Indiana license
• BLS certification
• ARRT(N), CNMT, or NMTCB certification
• 2 years of nuclear medicine technology experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Community hospital experience
