Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Orange, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 5-10 patients per day, and uses Epic.

• Perform general nuclear medicine studies and PET scans
• Prepare patients and support image acquisition
• Start and maintain IV access
• Assist with cardiac nuclear medicine studies
• Document studies and patient care in Epic
• Monitor image quality and coordinate with the care team

• Current California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
• BLS
• NMTCB certification or ARRT N certification
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• Prior travel experience
• IV insertion and maintenance skills

• PET imaging experience
• Cardiac nuclear medicine studies
• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital or trauma level I experience
