Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide imaging support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. The unit performs general nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies for patients across the lifespan and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform general nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging studies
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Start and maintain IV access for exams
• Monitor patients during stress and imaging procedures
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document studies and patient information in Epic

• BLS certification
• NMTCB certification
• ARRT (N) certification or California license
• 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Siemens equipment experience
• IV start and maintenance skills

• PET imaging experience
• CT Advanced Cert
• Pediatric imaging experience
• Epic charting experience
