Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Tech in Mission Viejo, CA

A Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Tech Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic and stress imaging in an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, California. Epic charting is used across outpatient, inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies across outpatient, inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for routine and specialty scans
• Assist with bone, brain, renal, thyroid, lung, liver, and whole body studies
• Support cardiac imaging and stress procedures, including pharmacologic and exercise protocols
• Start and maintain peripheral IV access for imaging studies
• Document exams and patient care in Epic

• BLS certification
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist or NMTCB certification
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience, including 1 year recent specialty experience
• Peripheral IV start and maintenance skills
• Experience with nuclear medicine imaging and stress testing

• ARRT Advanced certification
• Epic experience
