Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Easley, SC

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will support diagnostic and cardiac imaging in an acute care hospital in Easley, South Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and works at a 1:1 ratio.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and cardiology studies
• Prepare, handle and dispose of radioactive materials safely
• Start and maintain IV access and draw venous blood
• Assist with stress, perfusion and ventilation studies
• Follow isolation precautions and radiation safety practices
• Document exams and patient care in Epic

• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine
• BLS
• CNMT or NMTCB certification
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• Epic charting experience
• IV starts, venipuncture and radioactive materials handling

• Philips system experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
