Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Flint, MI

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging and patient preparation in a hospital radiology unit on a 13-week contract in Flint, Michigan. The unit uses Cerner and is part of a tertiary teaching hospital.

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging studies
• Obtain patient history and explain procedures
• Prepare and administer prescribed radioactive substances within scope
• Operate and maintain nuclear scanning equipment
• Complete quality assurance and radiation safety practices
• Maintain documentation, logs, charts, and records
• Monitor supplies and support other radiology areas as needed

• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Michigan state licensure
• Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program
• Strong patient care, imaging, and documentation skills
