Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform routine nuclear medicine studies in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The department handles 5 to 12 studies daily, with most volume coming from stress tests, and uses Epic charting.

• Prepare patients for imaging studies
• Assist with stress testing workflows
• Start and maintain IV access
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ordered medications
• Operate imaging equipment and obtain quality images
• Document procedures in the charting system

• California state license
• BLS certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Routine nuclear medicine and stress testing experience
• IV insertion and maintenance skills

• Epic charting system experience
• Siemens imaging system experience
• Sentinel node imaging experience
