Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech will perform nuclear medicine imaging and patient care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. Adults and geriatrics are served, with Epic charting used for documentation.

• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine studies
• Start and maintain IV access
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered
• Perform imaging procedures and collect quality images
• Handle and dispose of radioactive materials safely
• Support adult and geriatric patient care
• Document procedures in Epic

• California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license and fluoroscopy permit
• ARRT N and CNMT credentials
• BLS certification
• Diploma or technologist certificate
• 2 years of nuclear medicine tech experience
• Epic charting system experience
