Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Denton, TX

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging studies in a hospital nuclear medicine unit on a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The unit has a 2-technologist team, uses Meditech and Merge, and performs MPI stress tests, bone scans, HIDA scans, brain death studies, renal, parathyroid, and lung perfusion imaging.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies
• Prepare patients and explain procedures
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Assist with stress, bone, HIDA, renal, parathyroid, and perfusion studies
• Maintain imaging records and workflow coordination
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and process issues

• CNMT and/or ARRT (NM)
• BLS
• Texas Medical Board credential

• Previous hospital experience
• More than 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
