Travel NICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates and infants in a level III NICU in Charlottesville, Virginia for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and has a 54-bed census.

• Provide care for neonates and infants in a high-acuity NICU
• Monitor patients on high-frequency, conventional, and noninvasive ventilation
• Titrate IV fluids and vasoactive infusions
• Deliver admissions, post-op care, and whole body cooling support
• Perform line, wound, drain, ostomy, and chest tube care
• Assist with intubation, lumbar puncture, PICC placement, and umbilical line procedures

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted at start
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of NICU experience
• Level III NICU experience
• Epic charting experience
• Dr Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate

• Level IV NICU experience
