Travel NICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a pediatric and neonatal hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults, with ICU and intermediate care patients charted in Epic. This is a teaching hospital setting with complex respiratory, hemodynamic, and thermoregulation support needs.

• Assess neonates and pediatric patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor respiratory, hemodynamic, and thermoregulation status
• Support neonatal resuscitation and stabilization at high-risk deliveries
• Assist with advanced critical care therapies and airway support
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and family members
• Document care and respond to changes in patient condition in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• PICU experience with comfort in NICU, acute pediatrics, and the pediatric emergency department
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• ACLS
• Pediatric PACU experience
• Level III NICU or ECMO experience
• Previous charge experience
