Travel NICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates and infants in a hospital NICU on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The 54-bed unit uses Epic and supports high-acuity cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and surgical newborns.

• Monitor and stabilize critically ill newborns
• Manage ventilators, CPAP, iNO, and cooling therapy
• Administer IV fluids, drips, and medications
• Perform admissions, lab draws, IV starts, and line care
• Assist with intubation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement
• Provide care for post-op, cardiac, and premature infants

• Registered Nurse license in Virginia, pending accepted
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Dr Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate
• Epic charting system experience

• Level IV NICU experience
