Travel Medical Assistant in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified will support outpatient oncology care in Issaquah, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults receiving chemotherapy infusions and uses Epic.

• Obtain vital signs and update patient histories, medications, and allergies
• Room patients and prepare exam rooms for visits
• Assist providers with clinic care and medication administration
• Support aseptic technique and basic in-room procedures
• Handle scheduling, authorizations, and follow-up phone calls
• Help with front office workflows and patient flow

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical assistant experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Skills in vital signs, rooming patients, chart preparation, telephone triage, and medication administration
• General or family practice clinic experience

• Blood glucose testing and specimen labeling
• Immunization support
• Intradermal and intramuscular skills
• Positioning and draping
• Internal medicine clinic experience
