Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in West Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in West Des Moines, Iowa. The role serves adult med-surg patients and supports telemetry monitoring.

• Assess patient condition and report changes
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and cardiac status
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
