Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic charting, supports a 1:4 ratio, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer oxygen and support non-invasive airway care
• Manage peripheral lines and other IV therapies
• Use rapid response and code team support as needed
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE practices

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical or telemetry experience
• Peripheral line care and management skills
• Any charting system experience

• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Port access and management
• Blood product administration
• PICC line management and wound care
