Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in an observation unit on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit has 22 rooms, 23 beds, an average daily census of 20, and uses Epic.

• Monitor telemetry and rhythm changes
• Assess and coordinate daily nursing care
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral access
• Provide oxygen, wound, and feeding tube care
• Support post-cardiac, renal, and stroke patients
• Activate rapid response support when needed

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• One year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and drip management

• Cardiac drip management without titration
• IV start and maintenance
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Teaching hospital experience
