Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Oregon City, OR

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon City, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The 50-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Monitor telemetry and assess adult medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and oxygen therapy
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes
• Support care for surgical, cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and gastrointestinal patients
• Maintain isolation precautions and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of medical-surgical or telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Blood product administration
• Oxygen therapy and isolation precautions

• NIHSS
• Epic charting experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management and non-invasive airway support
• Central line, PICC, wound care, and tracheostomy care
