Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric nursing care in a short term acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit has 24 beds, an average daily census of 24, 1:4 ratios, Epic charting, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide bedside care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support management plans
• Administer oxygen and assist with non-invasive airway support
• Maintain peripheral lines and related nursing care
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic
• Follow isolation precautions and assist with rapid response or code team efforts

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Peripheral line care and management skills
• Any charting system experience
