Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Orange, CA

A Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult med-surg and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Orange, California. Epic charting is used, and the unit emphasizes rhythm monitoring, oxygen therapy and isolation precautions.

• Assess adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Support rapid response and code team activity
• Administer oxygen and manage nasal cannula and tanks
• Maintain peripheral lines and non-invasive airway support
• Document care in Epic and follow isolation precautions

• California Registered Nurse License
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of med-surg/telemetry RN experience
• Epic charting experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Rapid response and code team support, peripheral line care, oxygen therapy, nasal cannula, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions and PPE
