Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Santa Monica, CA

A Per Diem Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a hospital unit in Santa Monica, California. Epic charting is used for patient care documentation and daily nursing records.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and blood products safely
• Manage IVs, central lines, PICC lines, and ports
• Provide care for CVA, renal failure, and surgical drain patients
• Support feeding tube care, hemodialysis care, and isolation precautions

• California Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of recent medical-surgical telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience
• LA City Fire Card
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
