Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in San Pedro, CA

A Per Diem Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult med-surg and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in San Pedro, California. Epic charting is used in this unit.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and report rhythm changes
• Assess patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support oxygen therapy
• Maintain peripheral lines and other routine bedside care
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Assist with rapid response and code team efforts
• Document care and interventions in Epic

• Registered Nurse license in California
• BLS
• 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Peripheral line care and oxygen administration skills
• Non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions
