Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 25-bed unit uses Meditech EBCD and typically sees 4:1 to 5:1 ratios. It serves renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology and general med-surg patients.

• Provide telemetry and basic medical-surgical care for adult patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Administer ordered treatments and support bedside procedures
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the chart
• Maintain central line, Foley and infection prevention practices
• Collaborate with charge nurses, techs and the care team
• Use bedside equipment and lifts safely to support mobility

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS and basic dysrhythmia certification
• Adult med-surg telemetry nursing skills
• Strong documentation and patient safety focus
