Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for telemetry and med-surg patients on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 25-bed unit serves renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients with a 4:1 to 5:1 ratio and uses Meditech EBCD charting.

• Provide care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and coordinate routine treatments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient education accurately
• Support infection prevention practices and line and catheter care
• Assist with basic med-surg procedures and team collaboration

• Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
