Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Bay City, MI

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bay City, Michigan. The unit focuses on post-surgery recovery, wound care, IV therapy, and monitoring for changes in condition. The role supports coordinated care and patient education.

• Assess adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on admission and throughout the stay
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, and document care
• Monitor for changes in condition and respond to early signs of deterioration
• Provide wound care and support ordered treatments and equipment
• Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and the care team
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and discharge instructions

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Telemetry, IV therapy, and wound care skills
